Following a third-party report, Cornwall Mining Consultants were called in to carry out a property inspection, checking for any evidence of ground movement. The third-party report had indicated a potential risk from a former quarry which lay within the property site.
Our geologist visited the location to inspect both the building and grounds, establishing the current state of the site and evidence of the former quarry location whilst also carefully checking for any related ground movement. Following a thorough property inspection, our report came back clear which enabled the transaction to proceed and the property achieve an acceptable mortgageable standard!
