We offer a range of mining site investigation services with site inspections something we specialise in.
Thanks to our reputation, we often travel across the country to undertake these such as this recent one in Bristol.
Following a Dye Durham Residential Ground Risk Report, we were contacted by the potential purchasers for a property in Bristol, asking if we could undertake a Site Inspection for them.
This site inspection was needed following a ‘Further Action’ recommendation from the Coal Mining or CON 29 section of the report.
The property was on the market and the initial Dye Durham Residential Ground Risk Report Search had been undertaken for conveyancing purposes.
As it had identified an existing mining hazard, their concluding recommendation had been for some follow up site inspection work – something we specialise in.
Our Principal Mining Geologist, Chris Rogers, visited in person to undertake an initial visual inspection of the property, in relation to the recorded mining activity.

After a thorough visual inspection, Chris produced an informed conclusion and subsequent recommendations on how the potential purchasers could best manage the risk from the recorded mining feature.
This full Mining Inspection Report was sent to the purchasers to forward to their legal advisors, ensuring that all parties involved are correctly advised should they choose to continue with the purchase.
If you need a site inspection, complete our online form and one of our experienced team will be in touch.
