Walkover Property Survey

Cornwall Mining Consultants were hired to carry out a walkover Survey of a property’s ground which was extensive and included a large woodland area. Our initial desktop Bath Stone Mining Search indicated two shafts as well as other workings within the property which we were able to identify thanks to our extensive mining archive. One of our experienced Mining Geologists was able to locate each of the shafts and make a safe visual assessment before providing a detailed appraisal of the current condition of one shaft which had been treated. Our findings showed that the other mine shafts lay beyond the property boundary and thus we enabled the property transaction to complete smoothly.
